Hadith Quote

Narrated by Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying,
"Verily Allah created Mercy. The day He created it, He made it into one hundred parts. He withheld with Him ninety−nine parts, and sent its one part to all His creatures. Had the non−believer known of all the Mercy which is in the Hands of Allah, he would not lose hope of entering Paradise, and had the believer known of all the punishment which is present with Allah, he would not consider himself safe from the Hell−Fire."

Outfit: Grey

Kalsuma Here, This outfit is a formal grey outfit, but can also be changed into an evening outfit by using the flowery cluth bag. I've paired a black abaya with a grey blazer because i think blazers look great with abayas.

Hijabi Sisters : Sharing ideas

Salam sisters, this is our first post of many other posts to come (inshaAllah) of other sisters and their day to day hijab styles. Hopefully this should also inspire and encourage other sisters to start wearing the hijab.
HIJABI SISTERS:

1. Fatima
A very cute and simple look.
I love how she added the gold headband
with the cute little bow to the side, looks great with the hijab style, which also can be worn everyday.

2. Zara
I love how she matched the colours and accesorised the outfit with bangles!

3. Kalsuma
Gorgeous Maxi dress. I love this look, truly a great summer outfit, a cute wavy flowy dress! She matched her bangles with the hijab and added a long sleeve cardi for coverage. Digging the paisley leaves patterned all over the dress!

WOop another hijab video!
Salams sisters Kam here, I have found another great hijab style for you sisters and also one that I have tried myself. The colours deffo go very well together and have become one of my favourite colour combinations to wear with the hijab.

I myself tested the bow headband with another scarf (shiny grey colour) and it went soo well together and a very cute look as well. Another thing, if you prefer something a little toned down to wear on a daily basis, then it can be achieved with a simple bow at the side with a black scarf. =]

Do's & Don't for Hijab

When wearing the Hijab remember to cover your HAIR, neck, ears and bust. Make sure the Hijab is not transparent as this can lead to hair and ears being exposed.

TIP: wear a full understarf to avoid exposure.

Outfit: Baby Pink

This style is made up of light, nude pinks, which look so girly yet elegant, a simple black maxi dress with a long wrap cardigan is the best for coverage. Add some coloured accessorize to finish off the touch.
(love the pink balletrina flats)

Hijab tutorial By Amena

So this hijab tutorial is by sister Amenakin on youtube and its one of my faves. Deffo one to go for if you have more of a rounder face. Oh yeah and for more coverage obviously a scarf with a wider width can be used.

Hijab. What's it for??

What is the reason of the hijab/headscarf?

Well it’s simple, the purpose of the hijab/headscarf is for the coverage of our hair and chest area and above all, because Allah (swt) has commanded this to all women.
So why does this concept seem very confusing to some of us sisters?
Do we have a full understanding of the hijab and its purpose?
The hijab acts as a guard to protect chastity . What do I mean by that? The reason for this is so that our most prominent parts of our body (mainly the top half of the body) is covered from gazing eyes. Also the hijab should cover (other than your hair) the chest area, ears, and neck.

Hijab is also a reminder to us sisters of who we are …. it brings us closer to allah (swt) and encourages us to take the next steps in life.
Now I know some of us just can’t resist sprucing the hijab and outfit up BUT we should keep it just and not go extreme with it. And obviously if we do go OTT with it then the whole idea of hijab will lose its’ purpose.
It is vital to understand that every person has their own time to decide when to wear the hijab because it is better to do so when they themselves have understood the reason and intension of the hijab. No one should be pressured into wearing the hijab, the correct way is to advise them as pressurizing a person could mislead them.
